The New York Flamenco Festival
World Music Institute is one of the main organizers of the annual flamenco
festival in New York City. Usually held in February of each year, the festival
showcases many famous and up-and-coming flamenco artists from Spain. In the
past years artists such as Paco de Lucia, Carmen Linares, Estrella Morente, Miguel
Poveda, Sara Baras, Ballet Flamenco Eva Yarbabuena, Son de la Frontera, and
Tomatito have performed at the festival.
