SUMMER Introduction to Flamenco Dance Workshop for Absolute Beginners in Manhattan, NY May 28 - June 25, 2008 5 classes, one per week Summer Flamenco Workshop for Absolute Beginners includes Flamenco: A First Approach on May 28, which is an ideal class for anyone interested in discovering the art of Flamenco. Complex rhythm structure, footwork technique, upper body coordination, posture and breathing will be taught within the framework of flamenco song. Registration is required. Students can choose to take only Flamenco: A First Approach for $25 or only the Absolute Beginners Workshop (4 classes) for $85 or take all five workshop classes May 28th to June 25th for $85. Students who pay $25 for only the Flamenco: A First Approach Workshop and decide later to continue to the Absolute Beginners Workshop for $85, will receive a refund of $25, making the total for 5 classes $85. There is an additional $10 drop-in fee for those who have not registered and paid ahead of time. Students have until May 27th to register for Flamenco: A First Approach and June 3rd to register for the Introduction to Flamenco Workshop.
